Co-Founder, Senior Vice President, Business Development / Supermicro

Wally Liaw co-founded Supermicro and has served as Senior Vice President of  Business Development since our inception in September 1993.

From 1988 to 1991, Mr. Liaw was Vice President of Engineering at Great Tek, a computer company. Mr. Liaw holds an M.S. in Computer Engineering from University of Arizona, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tatung University of Technology in Taiwan, and a B.S. degree from Taiwan National University of Marine and Oceanic Technology.
