She has held pivotal roles in leading organizations such as Trellix, Okta, ServiceChannel, and Juniper Networks, driving transformative initiatives globally. With a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams across diverse functions, including product management, engineering, and go-to-market, Sue has consistently delivered impactful business results. Throughout her career, Sue has spearheaded notable achievements, including pioneering company-wide business and process transformations, achieving significant cost optimizations, and managing global teams of operations and program management professionals. Notably, she played a crucial role in achieving a staggering $280M in ARR within the first year of a software business transformation and generating annual savings of over $9 million through strategic initiatives. Sue excels in driving successful product launches and cross-sell/upsell growth initiatives, maintaining exceptional stakeholder communication skills. Prior to joining Cisco, Sue served as the Vice President of Product Operations at Trellix where she led the Product & Program Operations team, supporting 1,000+ engineers, product managers, architects, and designers with XDR Business Unit. In this role, Sue optimized key business processes for agile, quality-driven product launches and spearheaded cross-team initiatives. Her leadership was instrumental in driving transformative strategic outcomes. Previously, at Okta, she played a pivotal role in transforming the organization from startup stage to full-scale product development operations, achieving remarkable results in process optimization and tooling enhancements. Sue's career journey includes a remarkable 15-year tenure at Juniper Networks, where she embarked on a path of continuous growth and evolution. Beginning in a support engineering role, Sue transitioned to various pivotal positions including business operations, public certification program management, and merger & acquisition integration. Sue holds a master’s in communication from the University of Illinois and is certified in Project Management (PMP and CSM) and Information System Security (CISSP). She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her family, enjoying high-intensity workouts and cooking a variety of gourmet international cuisines in her free time.
