National Cheng-Chi University Alumni Association South California was established in 1979 to provide official representation of alumni in matters that affect the general welfare of the University in the Great Los Angeles and San Diego Area. The Association serves as a link between the university, its alumni, and the greater Los Angeles community. Its primary purposes are to advance the university's interest, to enhance relationships among alumni, faculty, staff, and students, and to strengthen the contributions of alumni to the campus community. These goals are accomplished through many varied, ongoing activities and programs. Membership in the Association is open to all former National Cheng-Chi University students.

國立政治大學南加州校友會創立於西元1979年，40多年來秉持著親愛精誠的校訓精神服務大洛杉磯及聖地牙哥地區校友，也維持著母校與校友之間緊密的聯繫。目前共有理事會成員35位，顧問10位以及約800位的校友會員。政大南加州校友會活躍於僑務社團，除了每年例行舉辦的年會與年刊發行之外，積極舉辦包括新春團拜活動、登山健行、中秋節戶外百人烤肉、國慶升旗典禮之外並時常邀請領銜於各領域的傑出校友舉辦座談，分享自身的職涯經驗。
