Research Development Lead/ Firework

As the Research Development Lead and Staff Software Engineer at Firework, I have the privilege of leading the creation team behind AI content-generating projects involving synthetic media (deep-fake, stable diffusion), short-form video generation, and speech/language processing (ChatGPT). The team is also responsible for the design and implementation of Firework Studio, an online short-form video creation platform, as well as the Firework Video DOM. Prior to this role, I founded CharmPI, a music mobile app startup company where I created inMusic and Musicpainter. I hold a Ph.D. from the MIT Media Lab, where my research centered on augmented reality audio, interaction design in time and space, and music game design.
