Austin has 5+ years of tech startup experience including 1 recent exit in Apr, 2.5+ years of VC experience with Oxford Angel Fund in Palo Alto, and 6+ years of biotech research experience. Currently, he is a Technology Innovation Manager of Fujitsu in the Bay Area where he is responsible for engaging with global startups or potential partners in pilot projects and strategic investments. Prior to this, he was a Co-founder & COO of LearningPal, a computer vision startup which was acquired by Ripcord in April 2022. Austin holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering, from University of Oxford, a BEng Biochemical in Engineering from University College London. He also studied 2 years of PhD in Bioengineering at UC Berkeley & UCSF.
